Groups to receive awards are: Narberth Army Cadet Force, Span Arts, Cylch Meithrin Maenclochog, Narberth Cricket Club Juniors, Narberth Food Festival, Bloomfield Day Nursery, The Scrapyard Project, Bright Buds Playgroup, Ysgol Gymunedol, RLSS Narberth Lifesaving Club,.

County Councillor Wynne Evans commented that this year had seen a record number of applications - almost double the amount received last year - therefore, the financial grant may be somewhat smaller to reflect the large number of applications.

"Payments will be made in January, and I will have application forms available for the 2009 awards from late spring onwards," he said.
