The countdown is on to one of the highlights in the summer calendar in Pembrokeshire.
Narberth Civic Week kicks-off on Sunday, July 24, with a packed programme of events and activities for all the family to enjoy.
The festivities begin with the traditional civic parade, service and luncheon. This will be followed by wet ‘n’ wild, a fun afternoon and Songs of Praise.
Monday sees a Span Arts workshop, children’s bingo, fun swim, live music, and adult bingo.
Another Span Arts workshop is being held on Tuesday, while also on the bill is the opening day of the Landsker Quilters exhibition, a children’s treasure hunt, children’s disco, family fun night and The Cube fun night.
Peak of the week Wednesday is the baby show, pram push and Round Table ping pong race, while the day also sees children’s craft, Family fortunes, Narberth Dynamos hill climb and a live music and fun night.
Thursday is hat day. Participants are asked to wear hats and the best judged will win a prize so don’t forget your hat as the hat police will be checking up.
A car boot sale, senior citizens coffee morning, children’s zumba, beat the goalie, family fun quiz and fashion show make up the day’s events.
As the weekend approaches, Friday is a busy day with the Narberth produce market, the creation station, Bazaar Old Hat vintage fair, family quiz, chldren’s sports, pet show, terrier racing and pirate themed party night.
The celebrations conclude on Saturday - Carnival Day. The theme for the morning street fair is medieval/Mabinogion. The carnival takes place at 2 pm, with judging at 3 pm.
