LOCAL Reform Senedd Member Paul Marr met with the South Pembrokeshire Rail Action Group (SPRAG) to discuss the ongoing lack of reliable public transport across South Pembrokeshire.
“West Wales too often gets forgotten when it comes to public services, and transport is a major part of that problem,” he said.
“If you work on a Sunday morning, public transport simply isn’t a realistic way to get to work. If you work evenings, there can be no public transport available to get you home. That doesn’t just affect workers it also has a real impact on our evening and night-time economy.
“We are in 2026, and the Welsh Government talks constantly about getting people out of their cars and reaching net zero.
“But if you want people to use their cars less, you have to give them a genuine alternative.
“People should be able to get to work, visit family, go out for an evening, or simply get home safely without having to rely on a car.
“Pembrokeshire deserves better, and I’ll continue to raise the case for better, more reliable public transport across our communities.”
