FARNDALE Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery...

Phew, it's going to need a big T-shirt to print that lot on! Well, you will be pleased to hear that the indomitable ladies (more Calamity Janes than Boadiceas) of the FAHETGDS with the help of Gordon are about to inflict (whoops)... infuse another well planned and rehearsed evening of pleasure into your lives. It is most unfortunate that Sylvia Frobisher will not be with them, as she had an altercation with a floodlight, but glad to say that Gordon Pugh has been coerced, rather co-opted, to take on the role of Inspector O'Reilly.

Those of you lucky enough to have attended the FAHETDS version of 'The Scottish Play' will know that you are in for a threat... treat. The basic plot is that Sir Reginald Bishop, a very wealthy man with a warped sense of humour, has 'departed the fix'... died.

Although sadly missed by his wife and family, despite the fact that he would not walk on the newspaper laid on the newly washed kitchen floor, they are gathering at Checkmate Manor to hear his LW and T.

The other family members are: Violet, Rose, Daphne, Joan, Letitia and Lady Doreen Bishop. Also Clarissa Rook, Gladys Knight, Col. and Mrs. King (there's a connection there somewhere). All of whom are in turn supported by Pawn the butler, Regine the French maid (down boy) with Mr. Goodbody of solicitors Goodbody, Goodbody and Goodbody. Fourteen roles and only five players!

And if all that is not enough, you are advised to go along as you may win the prize for the quiz. So ensure that you follow the play closely or you may not have the answers.

The FAHETGDS look forward to seeing you at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby, each Thursday in September.

Tickets are available on the door at the De Valence or in advance from Simply the Best, Upper Frog Street, Tenby.
