Following the success of last year’s popular event, Narberth Museum is delighted to welcome back Harvey’s Players for a WWII-themed Murder Mystery, ‘Carry on at Carew’ on Saturday, February 9.
The year is 1943 and the highlight of Carew’s social calendar, the Flower and Produce show is looming. In a time of rationing and austerity competition has never been keener as allotment holders and gardeners compete in the best homegrown marrow class.
No one is expecting the announcement that a murder has been committed! Help will be needed to solve this heinous crime and guests will be invited to question the gallery of suspects who will mingle with them.
To add an element of friendly competition, there will be a prize for the first person to identify the culprit
Fancy dress is optional but makes the evening so much more authentic - especially since forces sweetheart, Vera Lynn, is expected to make a guest appearance. The festivities start at 7 pm.
Tickets cost £15.00 (to include a buffet supper) and can be obtained online at www.narberthmusum.co.uk, by emailing [email protected] or ringing 01834 860500. Don’t leave it too late, last year tickets sold out fast!
