A Greenhill School pupil has given a boost to the Wales Air Ambulance after getting her hands...and trainers dirty in a mud run.
Fifteen-year-old Jorden Clarke, took part in the The Really Wild Mud Run, near St. Davids, on December 12, where participants are asked to run, walk, hop, skip or even jump around the boggy and wet course.
Jorden and her stepfather Stuart Lee presented a cheque for £268.50 raised from sponsorship to Tony Key OBE, the Pembrokeshire coordinator for Wales Air Ambulance, on Friday, at the charity’s shop in Tenby’s Upper Frog Street.
“Jorden had decided to donate the money she had fund raised to a charity and she selected Wales Air Ambulance as a worthwhile charity which is vital to the health and well-being of the communities of West Wales,” said Tony.
“An outstanding act of generosity shown by such a young lady,” he added.
