Local MP Nick Ainger has written to the County Council asking for officers to meet with Tenby traders to identify signs that are causing obstruction, but not to have a blanket ban which would detract from the lively Tenby street scene.

In his letter to the director of tansport and environment, Mr Ainger said: "I have walked Narberth town centre with a blind constituent and I am aware of the problems that obstructions on the pavement can cause to people with impaired vision.

"I am sure a compromise can be found to prevent dangerous obstructions, but at the same time maintaining the lively street scene."
