Town councillors are to consult with a local mother on a scheme that will enhance one of Tenby's main play areas for children. Parent Michelle Hughes previously contacted the council, expressing an interest in putting ideas forward on how to develop and improve the play area. Councillors will now discuss ways of upgrading the Jubilee play area overlooking the South Beach. "Hopefully we can move forward with this and get more play facilities introduced at the area for children," commented Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown. Clr. Mike Evans went on to say that if the town council could find ways of improving the facilities, the play area could then be handed to Pembrokeshire County Council to maintain.
