The sister of a man who died earlier this month after being struck by a train in Saundersfoot has called for more money to be invested in local mental health services following the tragedy.

Forty-four-year-old Paul Hart, of Valley Road, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a train on the morning of Sunday, July 15, with British Transport Police officers and emergency services being called to the tracks in Sunnyside, Saundersfoot following the incident.

Mr. Hart’s sister Anna Jenkins has since set up a justgiving page to offer donations to local charity ‘Mind Pembrokeshire’.

“Paul did not receive the help, care and support he much needed, and we believe more money needs to be invested into mental health services,” said Anna.

“Mind Pembrokeshire is a local mental health charity supporting the people of Pembrokeshire - and we thought this would be appropriate for any donations received,” she added.

The funeral of Mr. Hart will take place on Monday (July 30) at Parc Gwyn Crematorium in Narberth, at 11.30 am.

Donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to ‘Mind Pembrokeshire’ c/o funeral directors, W. and M.J. Rossiter and Sons Ltd., The Old Rectory, The Norton, Tenby.
