Concerns over ‘pavement parking’ in Saundersfoot has led to the local policing team taking action.

County councillor Chris Williams said that he recently held a meeting with the local PCSOs to discuss several ongoing concerns, including pavement parking.

“This issue has been raised previously, and I provided details of locations where obstructions are common. I requested that the PCSOs speak directly with the relevant property owners to ensure that pavements remain clear and accessible,” he said.

“While I appreciate that parking layouts are not always straightforward, it is not acceptable for residents, particularly those with assistance dogs, to be forced into the road due to blocked pavements.

“Since this intervention, there has been a noticeable improvement, and I welcome residents continuing to raise these concerns.”
