Sir, I've been asked to be a member of a Neighbourhood Watch scheme, but have decided against the idea. I personally think it breeds suspicion based on rumour and tittle-tattle rather than fact. When I talk to my neighbours, I'd like to think they are just stopping for a chat, not to gather information; nosey neighbours are not the solution to street crime. The only answer is that Tenby needs more properly trained police walking the streets 'day and night', who get on with their jobs while we attempt to get on with our lives.
