Tenby Girls had all three teams playing this week in round two of the Pembrokeshire Girls' Astroturf Football League at Greenhill School, Tenby

The Under 11s' first match was a hard-fought one against Camrose. Both teams played well and despite a lot of attacking play, neither side managed to score.

Jade Rowell kept goal bravely for Tenby, with Chloe Wilson and Carys Lloyd playing well in defence. Dazy Lloyd and Bridget John contributed well to the team's performance, while Holly Maynard ran well up front.

The second match saw Carys opening the scoring, with Holly adding two more to give Tenby three points.

Tenby Under 11s: Jade Rowell, Bridget John, Holly Maynard, Carys Lloyd, Dazy Lloyd, Chloe Wilson.

The Under 13s had players unavailable, so several Under 11s stepped up, playing Manorbier, who were fielding three former Tenby players.

Despite losing 7-0 the previous week, again fielding younger players, the Tenby girls battled well and played with spirit and determination. Manorbier scored first, but when Rickki Glasscoe scored an equaliser, this gave the Tenby girls the lift they needed.

Carys was superb in goal, with Bridget, Jade and Chloe tackling bravely. Georgia Poole and Holly Maynard chased every ball.

Rikki added another to make it 3-2, but Manorbier showed their strength, with ex-Tenby player Holly Furlong scoring twice more to make the final score 5-2.

In the second match (due to the coach's mistake!), Tenby were without two of their main players. However, the girls fought well, but Johnston were too strong, with Tenby going down 3-0.

Tenby Under 13s: Carys Lloyd, Holly Maynard, Bridget John, Georgia Poole, Jade Rowell, Ricky Glasscoe.

The Under 16s side were let down by several girls who did not turn up. Thanks to Kilgetty for the loan of another player, but it still meant Tenby had to play their first game five against seven.

The Tenby girls showed real determination, with Lori Amos making several superb saves in goal. Camrose scored first, but Jess Webb equalised soon afterwards in a well-contested match. Darcy Escott and Jodie Wallace ran their hearts out and the team thoroughly deserved a point.

The second game against Newcastle Emlyn started well, with Jess opening the scoring. NCE equalised before half-time and they pressed ahead in the second half to win 3-1, with the Tenby girls running out of steam.
