Tenby's inshore lifeboat, Georgina Taylor, was launched at 10.06 pm on Sunday following a report that a woman was possibly missing in the Tenby area.

The lifeboat was asked to search inshore between First Point and Giltar Point.

As the boat was performing the search, news came through from the police that the woman in question was actually in Liverpool and therefore in no danger.

The lifeboat returned to station.
