A Lancashire grandmother journeyed to Tenby over the festive period on a serious mission... to find a man!
Seventy-eight-year-old Muriel 'Millie' Mason, of Catterall, near Garstang, was in the town 'looking for love'.
Before leaving for Pembrkoeshire, she told her local newspaper that she was "going away to try to find a man and I want to see what's in the offing.
"My first husband died, then my second husband died a few years ago and I have never been out like this before," said Millie, who has 24 grandchildren. "I like to meet other people when I'm away. I even talk to the young ones and always make everybody laugh."
But was her mission successful? Did she find love? "Millie thoroughly enjoyed Tenby, but did not find her man," said Richard Slate, of the Albany Hotel, where she stayed during her visit to the town. "Millie had a lot of fun, and made sure everyone else did too. We hope she returns again to Tenby soon," he added
But will Millie get her man next time? Watch this space!
