ROUND-the-world adventurer Rosie Swale Pope sends her love and best wishes to all the people in and around Tenby. That was the message she asked Kilgetty's Peter Thomas to pass on via the Observer when he spoke to her at the weekend. Rosie, who has been running for four-and-a-half- years non-stop around the world by herself and put her feet on British soil for the first time last month since leaving Tenby in October 2003, is currently in Fort William as she makes her way back to Wales. "Rosie was also grateful for all the fantastic support she is getting from everybody," said Peter. "Rosie told me that she ran most of the night before (Friday) to get to a bicycle shop for them to repair her cart as she was having problems with one of its wheels." Although Rosie was expecting to be off the road for around two days, she was hoping to reach Glasgow next week. "Rosie said she has 512 miles to go to home and was really looking forward to her homecoming and seeing all her friends."
