Tenby Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, has praised the efforts of the Chamber of Trade and Tourism in organising the town's recent Winter Carnival. "I'd like to congratulate everyone involved in organising the event, and have received many wonderful comments from people who attended, especially regarding the fabulous firework display that capped off the carnival." However, Clr. Mrs. Lane was somewhat disappointed by the lack of floats and fancy dress for the procession. "It's a shame that more people and businesses did not participate on the night," she commented at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.
