Mayor-making in Tenby will take place a month later than usual this year.
Due to the town council elections being held on June 10, the civic ceremony will not take place until Friday, June 25, it was confirmed this week.
A Mayor-elect will be chosen at the council meeting on March 2, but there will be a contingency option available for an urgent meeting to be called on Monday, June 14, to nominate a Mayor for the ensuing year should the need arise.
The annual civic service, meanwhile, will be held on Sunday, September 19, at 10 am.
