An eight-year-old pupil at Tavernspite CP School hopes to bring some luck to the Welsh rugby team when they take on Scotland in this week's Six Nations clash. For Year Four pupil Jessica Williams, of Pwll Trap, will be leading the Welsh team out onto the pitch for Sunday's game at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Although she does not play, Jessica is a keen rugby fan and won a competition to be the team's mascot on CBBC's Xchange programme. Jessica is hoping to meet the team before the game and is particularly keen to get Shane Williams's autograph. After carrying out her duties, she will then be able to watch the match with her mum Jane, while dad Gareth and three-year-old brother Tomos watch from home. When asked who was going to win, Jessica's reply was, 'Wales of course'!
