The marriage took place recently of Mr. Graham Morse and Ms. Wendy Higbey.

The groom is an avionics technician and eldest son of Walter and Sheila Morse, of Penally, while the bride is a supervisor at a local primary school and the eldest daughter of Mrs. Joyce Jefferies, of Withington, Gloucestershire.

The ceremony took place in the Council Chambers of the Vale of Glamorgan County Council on Friday, March 12, and was attended by close family and friends.

The bride was accompanied by her friend Sue, and Sue's daughter Millie, the groom being accompanied by his brother Ian and step-son, Joshua.

After the service, a party was held in the matrimonial home, followed by a reception at a local pub, The Blue Anchor.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Bournemouth and will reside in Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan.
