Holyrood and St. Teilo's Church, Tenby, was the setting for the wedding of Sergeant Christopher Paul Monan and Siân Mari Thomas.

The groom, a sergeant in the Royal Marines, is the son of Brian and Isobel Monan, of Ardrossan, North Ayrshire, while the bride, a petty officer in the Royal Navy, is the daughter of Martyn Thomas, of Anglesey, and Ruth Johns, of Amroth.

The couple met in Diego Garcia while they were both stationed there.

The bride was given away by her father.

Bridesmaids were Grace Bevan, Isabelle Brooks, Ella Joyce and Hannah James (bride's cousins).

The bride's make-up was by Ceri Lewis.

Best man was Stephen Monan (groom's brother), while ushers were Kevin Monan (groom's brother) and Neill Meager (friend).

The ceremony was conducted by Father Owen McGreal and organist was Andrew Cusworth.

Pipe Major Rob Pinkman played the bagpipes when the bride entered the church and when the couple left.

A wedding reception was held at the RAOB Club, Kilgetty, where the couple cut their wedding cake made by Jenny Brooks.

A honeymoon was spent in the Maldives.

The couple are making their home in Ardrossan, North Ayrshire.
