The wedding of William Arron Edwards and Kizzy Hannah Brooks took place recently at Morden Park House, South London.
Kizzy is the third daughter of Tom and Rachel Brooks of Totnes, Devon.
The ceremony at Morden Park House on December 15, was attended by family and close friends, after which a vintage bus transported the guests to the Apollo Bananaleaf, Tooting, where they sat down to a delicious curry.
An evening reception was held at The Trafalgar Arms in Tooting.
The bride and groom, both graduates of the Royal College of Music, are professional percussionists in London working with some of the UK’s finest orchestras, ensembles and West End shows.
William is a composer specialising in writing for percussion and both are tutors of percussion/drum kit.
The bride wore a stunning ivory dress embroidered with native British flowers and carried a beautiful bouquet of white gypsophila.
The bride and groom entered the ceremony to ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ performed by the bride’s younger sisters and cousin Edwin.
The rings were presented to the bride and groom by Rhydian Edwards, groom’s nephew.
Readings and poems were read by Joel Rees and Megan Brooks.
An evening of dancing followed, with music provided by the fantastic swing band ‘The Gin Bowlers.’
Speeches were made by best friends Joel Rees and Freya Evans, and Edwin Brooks, bride’s cousin. Anthea Finn, groom’s godmother, read a poem she had written especially for the occasion.
William and Kizzy plan to honeymoon travelling in Europe in the summer and have already made their home in Tooting, South London.
