The wedding took place at St. Mary's Church, Begelly, recently, of Miss Margaret Adams and Mr. Elmore Richards, Given away by her cousin Nigel Thomas-Davies, the bride looked radiant in a full-length ivory gown of tulle and organza, which was scattered with crystals and with gold and claret delicate embroidery. The fitted halter-neck bodice was ribbon-laced at the back, finishing in a bow. The dress was enhanced by a specially designed bolero jacket. A crystal, gold and ruby tiara held in place a matching full-length veil, and the bride carried a shower bouquet of cream and passion roses, cream freesia and beargrass. The bridesmaids were Wendy Fish and Helen Williams (close friends of the bride). They looked very elegant in claret satin gowns, the draped necklines of which were embroidered with beading and crystals. Matching stoles completing their striking ensembles. Best man was Carl Richards (son) and the ushers were Wilfred Richards (brother) and Jeffrey Brooks (cousin). The service was conducted by Revd. Dylan Bate, the organist was Mark Jones (friend of the couple) and during the signing of the register, a flute solo was played by Mark Heron (friend of the couple). A reception was held at Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, where the couple cut a magnificent cake, made by Mrs. Ann Griffiths. After a honeymoon in Shropshire, the couple will be making their home in Kilgetty.
