LUCKY winner of a TV set and DVD player in this year's Rotary Christmas raffle was Alisdair Mackenzie, of Whitehill, Cresselly.

The raffle was organised by the Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland in conjunction with the Spar Shop, Narberth, who kindly donated a £100 voucher - won by Carys Towns, of Amroth.

Whilst congratulating Alisdair, president-elect Ted Davies also thanked the Spar Shop.

"We are again extremely grateful to Sam Palmer and his staff at the Spar Shop, Narberth, for their generosity and support," he said.

"Thanks to them, and the people of Narberth and the surrounding area we have raised nearly £1,000 for Rotary causes and charities.

"My thanks, too, to everyone who sold the tickets."
