Narberth has installed its new Mayor for2025-2026

At its meeting on the evening of May 6, Narberth Town Council formally appointed Cllr. Charlie Meredydd as Mayor of Narberth and First Citizen for the 2025–2026 term, succeeding Cllr. Chris Walters, with his Mayoress to be Cllr. Glinys Meredydd.

The Council also appointed Cllr. Elizabeth Rogers as Deputy Mayor.

“The Council extends its sincere thanks to Cllr. Walters for his leadership, professionalism, and guidance over the past year,” said a spokesperson for the Town Council.

“His service was especially valued during what would have been the mayoral year of the late Cllr. Sue Rees, whose memory remains with us.”
