To celebrate the 80th birthday of Trefoil worldwide, and the 10th birthday of Lower Landsker Trefoil Guild, members combined to make a commemorative church kneeler.

Barbara Morris was the leader of the project, ably assisted by Barbara Pegg, while the others contributed what they could, depending on their dexterity!

Last Wednesday, the kneeler was dedicated by Canon Andrew Grace at the 12 noon Eucharist at St. Mary’s Church, Tenby. Members took part in the service and all were touched when Dr John Harrison played the Scout Hymn as the service ended.

Those who have been Guiders have happy memories of singing this hymn at the famous Gang Shows of past year ,under the direction of the redoubtable Pauline Allen.

After the service, members enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Qube, when Chairman Margaret welcomed everyone, and plans were made for future meetings, and for the Christmas lunch!

Today, Wednesday, members are meeting at Castle Square, Tenby at 10.45 to visit Alan Crockford’s photographic exhibition at Tenby Museum.

Next monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, November 1 at the Scout and Guide Hall when member Jenny Vince is going to teach how to weave willow and, hopefully, make some Christmas decorations.
