Rachel Anne Brown, a former resident of Tenby, being the twin daughter of Christine and Peter Brown, has accepted an invitation from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve an 18-month mission at Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah, where she will be welcoming visitors from around the world.

Rachel will be one of 58,000 missionaries serving throughout the world; she will be self-supporting.

Rachel said: "I am very excited and proud to be able to follow the example of Jesus Christ to go out into the world to preach the Gospel."
