DIY barbecue: Following a very successful two days, held at the end of August, Llanteg Community Association held two environmental workshops for the children in the village. On the day, children took part in making bird and bug boxes, wood carving and helped to create a willow eco house. The occasion was voted a great success and benefited not only the children, but the community as a whole. As a result of the project, a DIY/Cook it Yourself barbecue is to be held in Old School Gardens, on Friday, September 28, from 5 pm onwards. At the same time, you will be able to see the creations that the children took part in and there will be a chance to look at photographs of the two days. Please bring your own food, refreshments, barbecue and chairs. Some small disposable barbecues will be available. You are also welcome to bring musical instruments to provide entertainment.
