Twelve-year-old Lauren Basnett, of Amroth has been hitting the high notes.
A student of Swansea's Stagecoach School, Lauren has helped produce a single, which is set to hit the charts after the entire audience sang the chorus at a concert at London's most prestigious venue.
They joined more than 3,000 youngsters and their families from Stagecoach schools throughout the UK at a unique charity concert at The Royal Albert Hall in London, which also featured Fame Academy stars, Sinead Quinn and Lemar.
The youngsters went for 'Gold' after the entire audience voted to produce the chart-topping single from one of three songs, including 'Glad All Over' by the Dave Clark Five, 'One Voice' by Barry Manilow and 'Angel Looking Through', written by former Stagecoach student, 22-year-old Penny Foster and musical producer, Rob Dwier.
It was their recording of 'Angel Looking Through' that won the most votes at the concert performed last Sunday, which helped raise funds for charity.
Stagecoach's founder principal, Stephanie Manuel said: "The whole concert was a spectacular event. Our students had the chance to perform at London's leading venue and it will be a day they'll remember for the rest of their lives."
The profits from the concert will go towards Milly's Fund, which promotes personal safety for children and young adults.
Fifty pence from every CD sold will also go towards InterAct Inclusive Workshops, a performance workshop programme for children and teenagers, which brings together both special needs and mainstream children to develop confidence through drama, dance and music.
The single, to be released in September, will be available to buy in the High Street.
