Tomorrow (Saturday) morning, Tenby and District Branch of the Labour Party will welcome their last guest speaker of the summer 2008 programme. Adrian Bevan, department manager at 'Visit Britain', London, will speak about his other role as the Public and Civil Service Union chairman of the 'Visit Britain' branch. His subject will be 'Trade unionism and its role in the modern workplace'. The speaker slot is at 11.30 am and everyone is welcome to attend. Members will meet at 10.45 for refreshments before the 11 am business meeting. Your questions will be welcome at what should be an interesting meeting. On Sunday, June 29, the Labour Party will hold their Summer BBQ Lunch at Skrinkle Community Hall, Manorbier, at 1 pm. Please reserve your place at tomorrow's meeting or by phoning (01834) 842604. There will be a two-course lunch, soft drinks (bring your own alcoholic drinks), a bumper raffle and an interesting table-top sale. The MP and AM's will be present. Members, supporters, family and friends are invited to enjoy a happy afternoon.
