A really well done to all the teams of Scouts who took part in the 'It's a Knockout' event at canaston Woods on Sunday.

The teams had to complete a course through the woods, going over rope bridges, being pulled along on a rope swing, under canvas (covering the stream!), through just a little mud (!) and many other things along the way.

All teams completed the course, some with the prize intact, some not. Each member of the team had to carry a raw egg around the course!

The teams went round the course twice, once clockwise and then the second time backwards. Time was added for not doing a task or if they lost an egg. So the fastest team over the two rounds won.

1st Haverfordwest took first place and 1st Kilgetty came a very close 2nd, but Kilgetty, on their second run, did have the fastest time, but both runs joined together meant they missed out on winning by just 53 seconds!

The team from Kilgetty was David, John, Christian and Lloyd.

A big thanks to the Scouts who made it a really great afternoon's event. Look out next year, just maybe Kilgetty can make it a faster time.

The Scouts are now looking forward to summer camp, which this year is in Kilkenny, S. Ireland, at the end of the month.
