Tenby's kind-hearted firemen will be taking to the streets of the town tomorrow (Saturday) when they undertake a bucket collection in aid of the Daniel Burrows Trust Fund.
As reported in the Observer last week, 12-year-old Daniel, of Knowling Mead, is at home recovering after major surgery for a rare form of cancer, having already beaten the disease as a toddler.
An appeal was launched last year to help send Daniel on the holiday of a lifetime to Florida and to provide for his after care, and now the town's firefighters are helping to swell the fund even further with a collection in Tudor Square tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
