Tenby's Kiln Park teamed up with the Romanian Aid Foundation last week to donate used bedding and laundry in support of the country. The holiday park donated used duvets, covers, sheets and pillows to support the cause. "We were put in touch with the Romanian Aid Foundation by Dyfed Laundry and we thought it would be a good way to help a worthwhile cause and at the same time increase the green awareness at the holiday park," said accommodation manager, Simon Apps. "We've introduced more recycling opportunities at Kiln Park and tried to highlight that even simple things like turning lights out helps to minimise the carbon footprint," he added. Lampeter based organisation Romanian Aid Foundation started their involvement with offering support to the country back in 1992. "We offer aid to a northern part of Romania called Dorohai and make trips over there several times a year, supplying items such as bedding, clothing, toys and food to orphanages, old people's homes, hospitals and poor families in general in the area," explained Richard Burgess, of the organisation.
