Police are appealing for information after a quantity of jewellery was stolen from a premises at Kilvelgy Estate, Kilgetty. The burglary occurred sometime between 9 am and 6.40 pm on Tuesday. At approximately 10.30 am, a vehicle described as dark blue or maroon in colour was parked in the estate close to the premises which was broken into. "There was a male person in it wearing a black coloured woollen hat and a black coloured puffa-type jacket," said a police spokesman. Then, at about 6.10 pm, a man, approximately 19 years of age, wearing a dark coloured jacket, called at two addresses in the estate asking for work and trying to sell items of property. Police are appealing for anyone with information about either of the men or the vehicle to contact them at Tenby police station on 842303 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
