During the past few weeks, many children and their families associated with Tenby Junior Community School have yet again been busy buying gifts and everyday items in order to fill shoeboxes.

These boxes will be given to many children in Europe, Africa and Asia who do not usually experience the wonders of Christmas as we know them.

Each year, the local Inner Wheel Club of Tenby co-ordinates this splendid charitable activity and the school has been happy to again take part and to share some of the treats which they are accustomed to with children who receive very little.

Just as in previous years, there has been an enormous pile of boxes collected and these will soon be on their way to very happy recipients!

Everyone involved has enjoyed collecting gifts so that they can express 'love in a box' and make Christmas really special for someone in a foreign country and show that they are trying hard to be good global citizens.

Pictured here are many of the children with their lovely Christmas boxes full of goodies. Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously to this appeal.
