Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Trevor Hallett, has spotted a number of interesting birds whilst out and about this month.

On Sunday, May 14, Clr. Hallett saw nine Sandwich Terns feeding on sand eels on the town's South Beach.

"The Sandwich Terns were being harassed by an Artic Skua to drop the sand eels because the skua is a marauder and robs terns of their prey," he explained.

Then, on Sunday, while walking the coastal path between Angle and Freshwater West, Clr. Hallett caught sight of two Cuckoos, one of which was calling, five pairs of Choughs and one female Peregrine Falcon.
