Sixteen members of the Inner Wheel Club of Tenby went out last Monday to the Quayside at Lawrenny and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

This was the first 'fun' outing of Jo Steele's presidency and was instead of the normal business meeting.

Members thoroughly enjoyed themselves and thanks go to everyone at the Quayside for making them welcome.

A walk had also been planned, but because of the past weeks of rain and the consequent muddy conditions, members took a gentle stroll instead staying on the tarmacadam. They did go a little way along the water, but were stopped by mud before very long. The fresh air was invigorating; the weather was kind, no rain, and the peace and quiet in this scenic estuary much appreciated by all.

A few stayed on for a welcome cup of tea, while the rest wended their way home, thoroughly relaxed by the outing.

Thanks go to those members of the club who played chauffeur.
