Following correspondence from Pembrokeshire Housing's chief executive, Peter Maggs, with regard to the association's 25th anniversary, local councillors have praised the work carried out recently at a site in Tenby.
"I'd like to congratulate the association and county council's recent development at the old shop building in Knowling Mead; it's a vast improvement," said Clr. Mrs. Kerri Durham at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.
Meanwhile, Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas told her colleagues that she would welcome discussions with Pembrokeshire Housing to see if the site of the old cottage hospital could be used as a sheltered housing scheme for older residents.
"I think that would really be a good way of using the land to benefit the community," she remarked.
