Police are requesting assistance from the public after a spate of incidents involving horses. Over the last four months, damage has been caused to numerous head collars being worn by the horses. "On one of the occasions, the horse was injured by the callous actions of the person/s carrying out this mindless act," said PC270 Terry Pugh, of Tenby police station. The latest incident, which occurred sometime on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, resulted in two horses having the blankets they were wearing slashed. All the incidents have occurred either in a field to the rear of Jammos nightclub, Penally, or behind houses opposite Holloway Court, also in Penally. Anyone who has information relating to persons seen in the area or relating to the offences, is asked to contact PC270 Terry Pugh at Tenby police station on 0834 330 2000.
