A local boy has put his artistic talents to good use by winning a magazine colouring competition - and a first prize holiday to France for his family! The competition, organised by Travel Trade Gazette for children of travel-selling staff, saw six-year-old Luke Eagles, of Tenby, eligible to enter as his mother, Hayley, works for Tenby Travel in the town's High Street. Run before Christmas, the competition challenge was to colour-in a picture of Santa in his sleigh, ready to fly off to a hotter holiday destination following the festive period. After handing Luke the top prize of a fantastic 10-night holiday in France for the family, courtesy of French Life, the judges said of his entry: "For a six-year-old, we were impressed by the level of neatness and there was an impressively wide, but realistic colour palette. However, it was the creative use of cotton wool on Santa's beard and glittery igloo that clinched Luke the top spot, making him a deserved winner."
