The next meeting of the South East Pembrokeshire Community Health Network (SEPCHN) will take place at the New Hedges Village Hall, 2 pm on Monday March 2.

Note that the usual day has been changed to a Monday.

The main speaker is Elaine Lorton, County Director for Pembrokeshire supported by members of her health team.

There are a number of key issues affecting the local health service, and central to discussions will be: ‘Care in the Community’.

Increasing efforts are being made to support patients in the community and a number of issues are emerging, including some from local AM’s, concerning its implementation.

It is important that we are aware of procedures and how best we can support it.

Developments at Tenby Surgery continue to evolve and we need to be kept up to date. What changes are being planned? Are there new appointments being considered? It is essential that the local community is made aware of changes.

A recent planning report described the development of the ‘Tenby Health Hub’. How is the planning for this evolving?

The SEPCHN has been operating for a number of years and it is probably time for us to reconsider its future.

So come along and express your ideas. All are welcome.
