Following the successful screening of the autumn season of Future Shorts, Rooms with a View Pop-up Cinema are pleased to be hosting the winter season - a brand new selection of award-winning international short films.
Rooms with a View is a non-profit independent cinema group with a passion for returning classic films back to the big screen within evocative venues - our most recent being the screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo at the Cliffhanger Restaurant in the Imperial Hotel, Tenby - and screening these ground-breaking new short films.
Future Shorts endeavours to expose new audiences to experiences that take them outside of their daily lives and allows them to explore new worlds. They are the largest short film network in the world, and curate a new selection of short films every quarter.
Join audiences from London, Salzburg, Mexico City, Baku, Helsinki, Moscow, Barcelona, Tokyo, Melbourne, Chengdu, Ho Chi-Minh, Malmo, Warsaw and in all 100 cities in 40 countries in viewing theses fascinating and diverse short films and voting for your favourite.
Our audience at the autumn screening voted for the same film as the worldwide audience - ‘If Mama ain’t Happy, Nobody’s Happy’. Come along and see if Tenby can choose the Future Shorts Audience Award Winner correctly again this season.
Take this opportunity to welcome the world to Tenby through the medium of film. The screening will take place on Saturday, February 11, at 6 pm, in the hall at Tenby Library, Greenhill Avenue Tenby, and will be £5, payable on the door. Refreshments will be available for a donation. For more information, go to www.roomswithaview.wales
