The Joker played by Oscar winning Joaquim Phoenix was probably one of the more dark Films4Tenby has screened. However, the audience came away full of praise for his portrayal of a man who had suffered abuse as a child and therefore had serious mental health issues, was harrowing.
The cinematography and the music were jarring and discordant and made it for an unsettling film.
On a more upbeat note, the next film is The Lion King on Tuesday, February 18, at 7 pm.
Tickets are £4 and £3 for members. All are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Pop up Cinema will be showing The Flying Scotsman at Cyclefit Studios on Lower Park Road on Saturday, February 29, at 7 pm. Tickets are £5 and please bring a chair.
There is a wide selection of films on offer in March, including world cinema and a relaxed screening of The Lion King on Tuesday, March 17.
