Sir,
Having just enjoyed my 92nd birthday, I suppose it means I am now in my 93rd year. In that case, am I now in my second childhood or third or fourth?
Whichever it is, I hope it will be understandable when I admit to appreciating your Barbara Stredder's children's page last week.
Perhaps because I was a bit of a scribe in the dim and distant past I particularly enjoyed the contribution from 11-year-old Thomas Badham, with the picture of the cat waiting hopefully. What a joy and delight it was to see the word 'hopefully' used correctly for a change.
I hope the older generation will take note and follow this good example. A little child shall lead them.
Roscoe Howells,
