TENBY resident Michelle Fry has achieved two goals in one, thanks to Weight Watchers.
Now aged 30, Michelle turned to the Tenby-branch of Weight Watchers in June 1999 after her weight ballooned to over 14 stone.
Her two goals were to lose weight and to get down to a size 12 in time for her wedding to Matthew Fry in March of last year.
"Having a baby to run after, I was worn out all the time and had no energy," explained Michelle, who now works as an assistant at Playdays in Penally.
"I had no confidence and I didn't go out because of my size. I was nearly a size 20 and over 14 stone."
"I joined Weight Watchers with Pat in Tenby and never looked back. She gave me the confidence to keep going every week and I lost over three stone and got to my goal weight two weeks after I got married in a size 12 dress."
A year on, Michelle remains at her goal weight and was delighted to receive a gold star award from Weight Watchers recently to mark her special achievement.
