A goalkeeping skills training programme is being held on Wednesday, July 25. The programme is a professional goalkeeper's training programme and during the morning session will feature 'how to keep fit through goalkeeping'. In the afternoon, the players will be put through exercises such as shot stopping/ throwing/kicking, as well as enjoy various competitions. Certificates and prizes will also be awarded. The event will take place on Tenby AFC ground, off Clicketts Lane, Tenby. Playing times will be between 10 am and 3 pm. Participants will be required to arrive at 9.40 am and will depart at 3.20 pm. It will cost £8 per player. Players aged from eight-16 in the South West Wales are invited to attend. If you are a standard junior footballer or a youngster who would like to join a club, you are all very welcome. You will be required to bring football boots, football kit, suitable trainers, shin guards and a warm top. Also, sandwiches and a water bottle to drink throughout the day. Head coach will be the experienced Bernard Steer (Bristol City and Somerset Youth teams and Taunton Town goalkeeper).
