TENBY'S friendship with the Gibraltarians was rekindled during a civic visit recently.
During a holiday to southern Spain, Mayor of Tenby, Clr, Mrs. Sue Lane, and fellow councillor, Mrs. Caroline Thomas, spent the day in Gibraltar, where they met the Mayor, Solomon Levy, and enjoyed a tour of the area.
To commemorate the visit, Clr. Mrs. Lane presented Mr. Levy with a town council plaque.
"Mr. Levy had served at Manorbier with one of the Gibraltar regiments and had very fond memories of Tenby," said Clr. Mrs. Lane.
