On reading the Tenby Observer today, I was saddened to read an article regarding the stolen charity box, for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice, from the counter of the Dennis Café at the Castle Beach.

I don't wish to judge the thieves that stole the charity box, but I feel that Ty Hafan do wonderful work for such sick children, and I am forever grateful that my two sons are healthy and never needed their care.

My Dad's favourite saying was 'When something bad happens, something good comes out of it, even if we don't see it sometimes'.

So, I wish to donate a cheque for the sum of £100 to replace the monies that were taken.

Please would you pass this on to the people concerned on my behalf for all the good work they achieve at Ty Hafan.
