Welsh artist Meirion Jones recently donated one of his art works to Tenby Museum and Art Gallery.

Between August and October 2014, Meirion had a joint exhibition with his father, Aneurin Jones, at the museum and wanted to thank the gallery with a painting.

The picture, Esplanade, Tenby, is an acrylic.

Collections manager Mark Lewis said: "We are extremely grateful to Meirion for his exceptionally generous donation to the museum. The picture is a super addition to the collection and will find a home in our permanent art gallery where it can be appreciated by the visitors. We were honoured to have the show in the gallery and hope that Aneurin and Meirion will exhibit with us again in the future."
