When the school bell rings today (Friday) to mark the end of the school year, three popular members of Tenby's Greenhill School will be packing away their books for the last time.
After a combined total of 95 years' service to the school, assistant heads Mr. Alun Rees and Mr. Peter Oeppen and French teacher, Mr. David James will all be retiring.
A member of the student support department, Mr. Rees, who has been at the school for 36 years, while Mr. Oeppen, a well-known figure in the science department, is bidding farewell after 34 years. Mr. James, meanwhile, is saying au revoir after 25 years.
Also retiring from Greenhill this term is deputy head, Mr. Bob Winder.
