We hear so much in the media about poor healthcare, ambulance responses etc. that we feel compelled to let you know of the fantastic response we received last Monday evening when the ambulance service was contacted, as mother was suddenly unresponsive to any communication.
Paramedics Marco Cico and Paul Jones were absolutely first class in their dedication to her care and comfort, whilst determining from symptoms, what course of action to take. When the doctor on call was contacted, he suggested that the ambulance crew convey the patient to Withybush.
Marco and Paul not only showed concern for mother, but patience with the family, who were struggling to cope with this difficult situation.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank these gentlemen for the incredible response; they were thoughtful and sympathetic, yet concerned and conscientious in their care of mother. Brilliant!
